Pour & Play: Intro to Fluid Acrylic Painting

from $100.00

Fluid acrylic is a fun, free flowing and meditative painting process that doesn’t require any artistic skill, and is open to people of all ages, backgrounds, and creative “abilities”. You are in control of the colors selected and technique used, then you will literally go with the flow and be open to the incredible magic that evolves.

This class will start with some information about fluid painting and a demonstration of three basic techniques that will be practiced (“Dirty Cup Flip”, “Ribbon Pour” and “Swipe”). Recipes and information is provided for anyone who wants to continue pouring at home. Students will use pre-mixed acrylic paints and studio tools to create their own freeform painting. Wear your play clothes or borrow a smock; invite family, friends or coworkers, and bring a camera to capture the creation of your painting to share the fun experience! This class can be repeated many times to experiment with different color combinations and techniques, getting a totally different result each time.

Reserved and scheduled by the group, with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 participants per group. The class date and time is scheduled after purchase, with availability on weekdays, afternoons and weekends. Plan ahead to reserve your spot!
